Hey Ya'll!

Just yesterday I attended a career fare and there were so many options for jobs. But I couldn't help but thinking that I already knew all of these jobs existed  They were common and I heard of them all my life. I wondered what some of the odd jobs were. What jobs keep this world spinning that we aren't aware of? My curiosity got the best of me and I goggled some weird jobs and believe it or not some of them pay pretty well and are still entertaining. There were two jobs which I found that really caught my attention, a pearl diver and a luxury house sitter.

Pearl Diver:

This is a high risk job but it pays really well! Diving for pearls in Australia will be dangerous but if you're a thrill seeker or love the water this would be a good job to consider. To dive offshore you would make $1,210 Canadian daily, and if you dive overseas the rates start around $500 Canadian per day. As intriguing as this job sounds I would not be a pearl diver because I have a phobia of deep water. Maybe one day I'd try it, if I get over my fears.

Luxury House-sitter:

We've all seen rich or famous people and their enormous houses and felt a pinch of envy. You may have wanted that house but could not afford it. If that was your case worry no more! This job requires you to stay in the house of some outrageously rich person while they are gone and maintain the house's value and beauty. Basically you get paid $200 a week of living in a enormous mansion and although this may not seem like a lot of money, you also don't have to worry about paying anything for the house. You get live in this fancy house; I don't see the downside to this job. If you find enough houses to care for you won't ever have to buy a house! I would love to have this job. I'd adore living in a celebrity's house.

Nothing's Bigger Than Love

Hello There!

There are countless people in my life and I'm glad to have every single one of them. They all get me through the toughest of times. Whenever I'm feeling down my loved ones know exactly how to make me smile. And through all my glorious times they add their own love and happiness. Out of all those people my mom is the one person who understands and inspires me the most.

I adore her strength and her perseverance, which she has maintained through out all of her life. Even if she is going through a rough time she will still honour all of her responsibilities and fulfil them. She may be having the worst day but she won't complain. I admire the way my mother has never stopped caring for us in the same manner through all my life. She may get tired of cooking or cleaning but she has never let it show.

I also look up to my mom's ability to make food that my taste buds love. I know many people who get tired of their mother's cooking but my mom's cooking is the best! She knows what extra ingredients to add into the recipe to make it outstanding. Maybe she's the reason I love food to an extremely high extent.

There are so many other things I prize about my mom, but one of the main things will be her honesty and trustworthiness. I can tell her anything and I know that she'll understand and not tell a soul (except maybe my dad..) and she always has easy solutions. And I'm absolutely sure that she never has nor will she ever lie to me. My mom and I have a close relationship and I'm thankful for getting her as a mother. Whenever she laughs everyone around her join in; her laugh is exquisitely contagious. She is hard-working, modest, sincere, and responsible. I hope to become like her one day.

Adventures To Toronto!

Hey Ya'll

The other day I was looking through my old photo albums and I remembered all the places that I've lived. Although I love where I'm living currently I feel like there's a huge lack of activities that you can do here. I lived in Toronto for many years and I loved the big city rush! I love all the places you can go, the food you can taste, and the people you can meet.  If I were to go back again and visit all the places which I loved, it'd go something like this:

  1. First and foremost, I'd purchase a flight. I could drive to Toronto but I prefer the view from the planes. The flight cost for Toronto would be $458. I would departure January 3rd and return after a month on February 3rd.
  2. Next I would rent a car for the month so that I can get around or just use public transit! I would go and pick up my rented car from Hertz. This would cost me around $950 for a compact vehicle for the entire month.  Toronto is amazing for public transit so if renting a car seems too expensive just purchase a public transit card weekly for a month! These can be found easily at any Collectors Booth near where you're staying. Don't hesitate while picking up a bus/subway pass because there is an endless number of people who use these daily and the different modes of transportation are very convenient, coming at least one to every stop in half an hour.
  3. Then I would go to my hotel/motel which I have already booked. If I were to stay in a cheap hotel (such as Day's Hotel) it would cost be around $2500 for the month. I could go even cheaper and stay in the Park Motel for the cost of $1350. On the other hand I could go all out and stay in a high-class hotel which would cost me over $15000.
  4. Now that I have everything arranged I'd go see everything!
There are so many wondrous things to go and see! You could go to the well known amusement park called Canada's Wonderland. This is filled with thrilling roller-coaster, water rides, and live entertainment. If you're lucky you will even see a concert there! Along with exciting rides it is also has beautiful scenery.

Some other outstanding places to visit include the African Lion Safari Park, Ontario Place, the Toronto Zoo, High Park, the Toronto Islands such as Central Island, the Royal Ontario Museum, the Science Center, and Yorkdale Mall.

Two places you have to go to include the Toronto Eaton Center, the largest mall in downtown Toronto and the CN Tower. These two locations are the most magnificent. The Eaton Center has an insane number of stores and you can more definitely shop 'til you drop! The CN tower is also an amazing site to see because you are so high above ground! You get to take an elevator ride all the way the tower and then you get to stand on the glass floor. You can also walk on the edge on the CN Tower. Imagine the adrenaline rush!

And before I go here's an amazing video displaying Toronto's beauty and some of the other fantastic things you should do!

John Lennon's 72 Birthday

Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think we're being run by maniacs for maniacal ends and I think I'm liable to be put away as insane for expressing that. That's what's insane about it. - John Lennon

Happy 72nd Birthday John.

Your dreams of peace live on deep within our lives. Thank-you.

Have A Little Fun

Good Almost Afternoon!

So many of us say we're bored all the time. I'll admit it I often find myself having nothing to do and then I think, 'Wow there's over a million things I could be doing right now.' Or too often whenever I'm racing to get all my work done I think of all the time I spent doing absolutely nothing but lay on my bed glaring at my ceiling. If you have a similar problem join the club. Just to help all of us out I'll make a list of a few things that anyone could do when we're bored without spending too much money. Honestly I very much dislike spending money unless I have to. Going to the movies 3 times a week is way to expensive for me. If I did that by the end of each week I'd be broke. Anyways here's the list. (:

#1)   Go out and walk. It helps you stretch and get off your couch. Also its autumn right now and there's absolutely nothing better than the sound of fall leaves crunching under every step you take.

#2)   Discover some new music. There's infinite amount of music out there and so many lyrics that you have not yet memorized. Maybe you'll find a song that you can relate to with all your heart or maybe you'll find one that'll make you want to dance! Either way, find some songs!

#3)  Bake something. Everyone loves eating bakery food, especially me. If you don't want the food send it to me and I'll be sure to inhale it.

#4)  Ride a grocery kart! That's always awakening and you always have a blast. This does mean that you'll need a friend and if you're anything like me this will create a major crisis.

#5)  Google some really funny jokes and laugh at them because honestly, who doesn't love a good laugh?

#6)  Prank call people. It's the greatest thing ever and usually is funnier when you phone a business. P.S. Don't call long distance; that's expensive.

#7)  I want to say clean my room but my room is fairly clean all the time. If yours isn't, please clean it. Global warming is bad enough, you don't need to contribute to the end of the world.

#8)  Read a book. I know this may sound shocking to you but reading can actually be interesting..if you have a good book. If you don't, just keep reading my blog. ;)

#9)  Go and play some Nintendo, preferably Super Smash Brothers Brawls because that is basically the best game.

#10) Go Coning. Yes that's old, but that just means that people have forgotten about it which makes the worker's reaction more priceless. (If are not aware of what coning is, youtube it)

#11)  Enter into Wal-Mart and have the time of your life by simply trying things on such as masks and silly clothes. Then add some neon accessories and taa-daa!

#12)  Blink and keep your eyes closed shut. Sit back and enjoy the light show.

#13)  Rate people on the street. Judging people is very low but then you're this bored you deserve to gawk at people. Maybe you'll rate people high and then they should feel happy about themselves. (:

#14)  Repeat every sound a person makes. This may lead you to have no more friends but if you're like me that's perfectly fine!

#15) "Point at someone and shout 'You're one of them!' Run and pretend to trip. Crawl away slowly"  I may or may not have googled this but this is wicked. I'm doing this tomorrow.

#16)  Don't lose the Game. Too late.

#17)  Go window shopping. It's free and entertaining.

#18)  Watch Spongebob Squarepants! I'm pretty sure it's on almost all of the time and this is one of the few shows that never ever gets old.

#19)  Auto tune yourself and then maybe you'll be the next Rebecca Black.

#20)  Learn the lyrics to a Skrillex song. (Nothing Is Impossible)

That's about everything and remember,

Clock Tower's Reality

Good Morning,
I was looking through my old files and I found that I'd saved the link for the Clock Tower video. It's one of the most inspirational things I've watched my whole life. It's sad yet it opens my eyes whenever I watch it. I guess it's because there's just so many people in the world who do countless things for you and I but we never notice. Someone may be working non-stop only to make us smile and we many not even notice. Some people may give up their hopes and dreams to make everything normal and easy for us but we may not see their effort. Everyone needs to be appreciated and too many people go without it. Today think of just one person who loves you and thank them. Thank-yous are not needed most of the time but they will always brighten anyone's day. The Clock Tower is a very short video and I think not enough people have seen it. Watch it. Enjoy it.

High Speed Photography

Hey you guys!

I hope that all of your days have been going good. Today I thought I'd post some pictures of high speed photography. I can never get bored looking at high speed photography photos because whenever I see them I think of all the things our minds zip trough. We can watch a bullet go through things or a pin burst bubbles but our memory will never be as sharp as these photos.  The cutting quality of each photo captures my attention. My favourite three are probably the paint-ball explosion, the balloons erupting and the bubble popping!

I love popping bubbles too. There's always something about bubbles that makes everyone lively. The sun is shining and the future is bright. Go out and blow some bubbles today. Enjoy yourself.

My Countdown until Eid Al Adha (:

I'm not sure if ya'll have noticed but I put a countdown in my page. This is the countdown until Eid Al Adha. Many of you may not know what that is so I'll you. Eid-ul-Adha means Festival of Sacrifice, and it is also known as the Greater Eid. This is the second most important festival in the Muslim calendar. If you lived in a Muslim country it would be a holiday from work.

The story behind this festival is about Ibrahim and how he saw Allah in this dreaming asking him to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God. Many bad things tried to pull away Ibrahim from doing what he was told but as Ibrahim was about to sacrifice his son Allah stopped him and replaced his son with a lamb.

This story is also found in the Jewish Torah and the Christian Old Testament (Genesis 22). Here God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac, his son with Sarah.

On this day Muslims worldwide slaughter a lamb or goat in memory of this incident and then distribute the meat amongst friends, family and the poor. We pray to God and thank him for everything we are blessed with. Receiving presents and visiting friends/family is also a tradition. It is also necessary on Eid to set aside money to donate to the charity. There is also loads of good food and many females love to apply a henna tattoo the night before.

As you can see all religions are connected and I'm very excited for Eid. I hope you have a super extraordinary day. And until then...

Hey Ya'll.

It's rather swell of you to accompany me onto my blog. This is my first post and I'd like to dedicate this to Dr. Seuss and music because these are the two things that have been with me though out all of my life. I blame them for my obsession with words and using a thesaurus. This'll be a pleasant journey and you've got to stay on for the ride.
